In January we presented the cycling legend Thor Hushovd as General Manager for Uno-X Mobility Cycling. Today we have the great pleasure to present another cycling legend, Emma Johansson, as Board Member.

Emma Johansson won big one-day races and stage races, including Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Ronde van Drenthe, Trofeo Alfredo Binda, Omloop van het Hageland, Le Samyn, Thüringen Rundfahrt and Belgium Tour. Emma has two Olympic silver medals, three World Championships medals, and she was on the podium in the Tour of Flanders a total of four times. In 2013, Emma Johansson was the number one ranked rider in the world, ahead of Marianne Vos.

“Before Vegar came to visit this winter, I didn't realize how much I had missed being part of a team. It is now 6 years since I retired from professional cycling, and it is still cycling that is closest to my heart. I am very grateful for my role on the board of Uno-X Mobility Cycling. It gives me the opportunity to influence the team's development and I´m really looking forward to being a part of this”, says Emma Johansson

In addition to experience and knowledge, at Reitan and Uno-X Mobility we strongly believe in passion as an important success factor. Emma has a big heart for the development of women's cycling, and we are very much looking forward to having Emma and her unique experience on our team.

Emma has been commentating cycling races on TV for many years. From our side, and for the good of women’s cycling, we would love to see her knowledge and excellent communication skills continue to delight TV viewers whenever she has the opportunity.
