Uno-X main sponsor of the Norwegian cup

For years, Uno-X has been a significant contributor to Norwegian and Danish cycling. In addition to investing in its own teams, the company has sponsored major races in Norway and hosted its own developmental race weekend. Moving forward, the focus will increasingly shift towards elite efforts in both men's and women's professional teams, while still supporting recruitment and development in both countries.

Uno-X Mobility is now intensifying its focus on the men's and women's professional teams with the goal of having both teams at the World Tour level from 2026. In this context, a review of all cycling projects has been conducted. Earlier this winter, it was announced that the Uno-X Development Weekend, held since 2018, will be discontinued. We are now very pleased to have signed a three-year agreement with the Norwegian Cycling Federation. The agreement is related to the Norwegian road cup races to compensate for the discontinuation of the Uno-X Development Weekend while also ensuring more sustainable races in the Norwegian cup for the future.

To foster new talent, it is crucial to organize cycling races, and with this agreement, Uno-X aims to help Norwegian Cup organizers achieve greater financial stability through a subsidy program. Uno-X will also continue its collaboration with Sundvolden/Ringerike GP and the Arctic Race of Norway among the Norwegian UCI races.

Disbanding the development team - focus on junior riders

As a significant part of the restructuring related to elite investment and recruitment, it has been decided to disband the development team, Uno-X Mobility Development Team, after the season. The trend in international cycling in recent years has been towards younger and younger riders excelling at the top level. Many riders are recruited directly from the junior ranks to the biggest teams. For Uno-X, it's important to keep pace with this development, and therefore, the company entered into exciting collaboration agreements with NTG in Norway and Team Cycling Elite in Roskilde, Denmark, related to junior development before this season. Team Uno-X-NTG and Uno-X Carl Ras, Roskilde Junior are already well underway this season. More projects related to junior riders may also be considered in the future.
